Seneca Lake in February

We are accepting reservations for the first weekend in February and beyond. February is a wonderful time to visit Seneca Lake. The lake doesn’t freeze so the snow covered hills form a lovely backdrop for the lake. Mornings, after enjoying a beautiful sunrise, watch the birds at the feeders and the ducks on the lake. If you have never been to Chocolate and Wine weekend on the Seneca Lake Wine Trail, you don’t know what you’re missing. It is one of our favorite wine trail events. Pick up your souvenir glasses at your first winery and you’re off. At each participating winery you will find chocolate and wine pairings, and you may just stop thinking of chocolate only for dessert as often savory dishes are enhanced with chocolate.
