Seneca Lake Chocolate and Wine Event, This Weekend

The annual Seneca Lake Chocolate and Wine Event promises to be even more exciting this year. It is being co-sponsored by Bridge Brands, makers of “Wine Lover’s Chocolates”, and this year’s recipes will be the tastiest ever. Attendees will enjoy a custom tin of delicious, fine chocolates and most recipes prepared by the participating wineries will be made using Wine Lover’s Chocolate.
You will enjoy a self-guided tour around beautiful Seneca Lake, after picking up your gift at your starting winery. Then be prepared to begin sampling delicious chocolates or food prepared with chocolate – creatively paired with each winery’s wines. There are 30 unique wineries to visit over the 2 1/2 day period (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) and a great way to spend the weekend leading up to Valentine’s day – also a perfect weekend to spend with a loved one, sampling wine and chocolate treats.

Chocolate and red wine are not only a tantalizing combination but there is research to show that both foods also contain antioxidants which may have health benefits. Imagine savoring one of the most popular food treats paired along with the perfect Finger Lakes Wine – while knowing that it is also good for you. You can’t beat that!

While advance sale tickets for the event from the Seneca Lake Wine Trail office are no longer available, there are several wineries which still have them.
